Dr. Jennifer White-Baughan is a clinical psychologist with 19 years of experience specializing in the treatment of trauma in children, adolescents, adults, and families. She has taught about the effects of trauma in Sri Lanka and West Africa and consulted internationally. She creates a context of safety for clients to learn new skills and to explore patterns of self limiting beliefs while calling on the clients own resilience and strengths in therapy. She draws from her varied life experience as well as her career in the medical field for a decade.

Dr. White-Baughan has worked in high conflict divorce situations and now is invested in the collaborative model of conflict resolution. She is a member of the International Association of Collaborative Professionals. Theoretically she interweaves self psychology, developmental psychology, and cognitive behavioral therapies in her work. She uses practical parenting interventions and has raised two children of her own. She worked at University of California, San Diego Medical School and conducted research on Post Traumatic Stress Disorder there. She follows the scientist practitioner model but her practice encompasses a lifetime of appreciation for the lessons of life that cannot be measured and this informs her work.
